My name is Julie, I’m 15 years old
and I come from Denmark. I’m a very happy, helpful, conscientious and smiling
girl. My dream is to go to USA, learn another culture, stay with another family
and go to high school. I think it will be an unforgettable experience.
I go to a private school, Elise
Smith School. Elise Smiths School is an independent primary and secondary
school situated in the town of Aarhus in Denmark. We are 460 pupils. It is nice to go at school in Denmark,
because we have many interesting subjects. In my class we have mathematics,
biology, geography, physics, history, social studies, Sport, German, English
and Danish. My favorite subjects are mathematics, sport, Danish, German and
English. I like working in groups as well as individual, and I enjoy doing my homework.
I´m very committed to my school and my friends and I often plan social
activities for my class. It is nice to go to school, because I have many
friends and I learn something every day. My best friend, Sofie and I go in the
same class. I have known her since we were three years old. We know each
other’s families and I believe that Sofie will be my friend for life.
In my spare time I play the piano, I
take piano lessons every Monday, and I have played for six years. It is very
challenging and pleasurable. I have played handball for many years, but now I
do fitness training twice a week. I enjoy doing all kinds of sports. I have
also played musicals, when I was 12 years old, it was great fun to be part
these shows. I sometimes babysit two girls, five and seven years old. They are
really nice girls and I enjoy their company.
